"Be ye strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak: for your work shall be rewarded."
— 2 Chronicles 15:7 (KJV)Before you do anything else today… just be here. Right here. This moment is yours.
There's a verse tucked into the Old Testament that most people walk right past. Eight words. That's all. Eight words — and they change everything.
Your work shall be rewarded.
Think about what Heavenly Father is saying here. He's not saying "if." He's not saying "maybe." He's not saying your work might matter.
He's saying it shall be rewarded.
That's a promise. From the God of the universe. To you. Personally.
And I think sometimes we need to hear that — because the work is hard. It's really hard. Some days your hands do feel weak. Some days you wonder if any of it matters — the prayers that feel like they hit the ceiling, the service that nobody sees, the patience you're holding onto by a thread.
You're showing up. Day after day. Even when the scoreboard doesn't change. Even when nobody claps.
You know what that is? That's strength.
"Be ye strong therefore" — that word, therefore, matters. It means Heavenly Father sees what came before. He sees the effort. He sees the early mornings and the late nights. He sees the quiet battles nobody else knows about.
And He's telling you — right now, this morning — do not stop. Do not let your hands drop. Because what you're building… what you're becoming… what you're pouring yourself into…
It is not in vain.
Your. Work. Shall. Be. Rewarded.
Maybe not today. Maybe not this week. Maybe not in the way you expected. But the God who counts every hair on your head… He counts every effort of your heart too.
And He keeps His promises.
So this morning — whatever is in front of you — go strong. Hands up. Heart open.
Because Heavenly Father is watching. And He is so, so proud of you.
This is Morning Light. I'm Ali. And I believe in you.
